Mare’s Nest is a sim that rose from the ruins of Moon Meadows and prides itself on not taking things too seriously. It was founded by Breezy and Vespy in October 2024 with the goal to build something better—cutting down on the fun police that can drain the life out of a sim, while still keeping out the gooners. What began as a small parcel for close friends quickly grew into something more.

The sim centers art and creativity, reflected in its creator-friendly approach: vendors and creators aren’t charged for shop space. Residential housing wraps around the main hangout area and the shops by design, giving the whole space a steady sense of activity and community. Events run throughout the week, with special pride taken in the production quality of monthly parties. Other regular events include game nights, movie nights (especially horror), field trips, YCH art drawings, and Hoofball—home of the Mare’s Nest Meteors.
