Tldr History
Baltimare is a sim That original was a skybox, now it contains an extra sim [Horse hights] which is the residential area. The sim originally began around 2022 by rarapony as well as being manged by rose quartz, the sim slowly grew into popularity through 4chan /mlp/ as the opg thread! The first instance of this thread was created on the Tue 07 Jun 2022 after around 10 or so dozen threads were made on the brand new open pony (open pony is a pony avatar you could get for free!). The sim is a private invite only sim despite it being available to be teleported into as you must be a user of the board before entering! It is also known for hosting different game, drawing, karaoke events and much much more!
If you are in baltimare just remember to get an autism diagnoses :).

The creation of Baltimare (may-June 2022) {rougthly}
Originally a sky box in the... well sky, it was just a small house, near a camp fire with a couple pillows for people to hangout on. It also contained a stand where you were given the open pony model and later on a couple stores on the side offering a few unique items but nothing to big of interest, at this time it was mostly lead by rarapony as well as rose quartz (who to be honest did most the work at the time).
The sim progressed through meetings witch were held by the two where they would speak on top of a soap box to discuses future events and how things can improve for the sim.
another notable thing to happen around this time was the creation of the baltimare bungle (created by horselover) as well as wsis (the worst store in second life created by ambliz). The bungle becoming a great archive for what was to be and what happened in the sim and wsis being a great source of events for the sim.
another small mention was nonnys journals which helped grow the sim through the documentation of their exploration around different second life sims! The culture of exploring sims still happens to this day around baltimare!
